Before long it was time to learn how to feed myself ahead of most likely having to go home with a feeding tube. I obviously didn't want to but it would have beat having to spend more time in hospital...

Clarence and I after we made it into the ward and got our own private room! Looking a bit cleaner than the last couple of photos! I wasn't feeling very well at all but having my own room made ALL the difference. Not sure how I would have survived without.

Sometimes I like to treat myself to some eyebrows, as you can see in this gawky photo, they're pretty much gone now!!! But thanks to @benefitcosmeticsuk I can bring them back if I want to look a bit less... Chemo! I'm not sure I'm very good at it, and they probably never match each other (though I do actually draw them both on!) but I'm learning!! Thanks to the wonderful @katie__pearce for getting me onto these pencils - she is my eyebrow guru!!

So this is how I'm looking now, 3.5 months post surgery. I don't like looking at myself, I had to talk myself into sharing these photos. Face still swollen, mouth crooked, no teeth, crooked nose and the right hand side of my face sunken. Not to mention permanent dark circles under my eyes. Getting teeth will make me look a lot better, but no idea if my face will ever look normal again. We shall have to wait and see. Looking at these photos makes me cry a little. But I do remember how far I've come. And it's not over yet, it will get better still.

A lot can happen in 9 weeks... Can you believe it?! It's hard looking back on those first ones now. Taking these photos was the most important thing. Some days it felt like it would never get better,...

Side view - each photo 4 days apart, starting from 4 days after I got out of surgery. Wow. #transformation
